The world-wide liberalization of energy markets causes new tasks for reading and processing of energy data. With our automatic meter reading system ZFA/200-F, we offer you the best support to respond to all these new challenges.

A large number of energy supply companies rely on ZFA/200-F. This fact makes it to one of the leading systems for automatic meter reading - world-wide.
Individual device drivers enable the communication with meters, measuring devices and recorders independently from manufacturers. With over 240 different device drivers all current meters, recorders and transmission devices are supported.
These device drivers support most protocols and data formats. Standardized interfaces are used for an import from external systems or from mobile meter reading.
After reading or import, measuring data is automatically saved in a database as raw data in form of standardized OBIS data. This enables a direct and similar data processing.

With the help of powerful and scalable communication servers, all current communication modes and communication devices are supported.
Data transmission is executed fully automated in parallel mode. System performance can be increased by step by step hardware extension.

Measuring data is managed in standardized OBIS format and customer-, device- or metering point-oriented.
For this purpose different powerful databases (Oracle, MS-SQL-Server, Sybase, IBM Informix) in stand-alone mode and in multi-user mode are used.
The user administration enables the limitation of functions and data ranges up to the multi-client capability. The extended user administration according to SOA criteria is supported.
Data security and revision security are achieved by special functions like meter data history.
The integrated redundant saving of measuring data (meter data / raw data / standardized data) guarantees a maximum data security.
Flexible evaluation modules are used for preparation and processing of measuring data for billing, energy data management, energy portfolio management etc.
Detailed statistics with automatic grouping of faulty devices simplify the monitoring of data communication and edit processes.
Valid and correct data is guaranteed by automatic plausibility check and generation of substitute values.
Special system modules enable the limitation of energy amounts, definitions of schedules and energy balancing as well as the evaluation of network quality data.
Nearly all mathematical calculations and comparison functions can be defined by individually configurable evaluation functions.
The individually adjustable tariff control can be used for the valuation or processing of data for billing.
Flexible and configurable import and export interfaces enable data communication with external systems. Besides measuring data also interfaces for a cyclic comparison of master data are available.
Standard interfaces are available for all common billing systems and EDM systems, MS-OFFICE and for EDIFACT/MSCONS. In addition, we offer interfaces to RIVA, IS/U and EDM systems of SAP.
Besides interfaces based on files also object-oriented API interfaces to external systems are available.
Besides the real-time exchange of measuring data, interfaces based on web services also offer the possibility of interactive external control of the system (transactions).
Of course, data communication via interfaces can be automated with macros.
The system is able to control data transmission by checking the status of measuring data (incorrect, edited, OK ...). Therewith the automatic post-delivery of processed data is also possible.
Via individually configurable reports based on the integrated Report Tools Crystal Reports, a data output to a printer in almost every data format or in form of standard file formats (doc, xls, pdf, XML, html...) is possible.
The processes data reading, plausibility check, data evaluation and data transmission are fully automatable and can be adjusted by the user. The user can set the processes individually.
A powerful schedule control offers suitable settings for each individual case of use.
System-managed process status and measured value status provide additional information about the current process status of measured values.
